I know,I know wait 5 minutes...........right? My dilema is I'm coming up from Binghamton hopefully to Oswego or Salmon river with a 14 footer. Anyone got a seat open? :)

Plenty of times it starts out 1-2' and by the end of the day ends up much higher and sometimes it's rough and sets down. The reports are usually close and the one thing I've learned over many years is any westerly wind over 10 usually isn't good. Good luck

All depends on the day. Believe me not going to take any chances. But if I get the right weather I'm not worried. Man's got to know his limitations. :)

I got caught in my 20 footer out at the Galloos about 20 years ago and that gave me some pucker factor.

got to keep a eye on the weather all the time. Forcasts are only opinions. It can change in a moment, storms can come  before we realize it.My advice is to stay off the lake in a small boat unless you are sure of the pending weather.Especialy be sure of your boat.many accidents happen when motors stall and a wave comes over the back dooming the craft.
