After hitting some salmon on the lake yesterday I went out this morning greeted by a beautiful full moon. It took me a little while to figure the fish were shallower. Caught 4 all on deep divers off long lines in around 20-26 fow. Lost one on the bottom bouncer in 32 fow.

Nice job as always Kevin. Hermit and I went 3-4, but the one we lost is why I fish the moon...never know size for sure till its in the net...but wow could easily have been the biggest ever on my boat. The rod wasnt in my hands to feel the fish but I saw the fish and the hit was really something on a 10.5 foot dipsey rod flatlined like an outrigger.

Nice fish Kevin, it sure was a beautiful night to be out fishing.  Had a great time with Justin and some good laughs including me trying to fill his bottomless livewell!  Ha!  Too bad that pig came unglued, that was a huge fish for sure.

Kevin,

Nice series of posts of your river walleyes. Just starting to come on board for them, but have been jigging deeper water rather than trolling.  Now that the boat traffic is reduced, might go back to pulling plugs without having to fight so much chopped up grass.

Any tips on how to set up?
