out of state boat registrations

Hey new to the site and will be hauling my boat out to Oswego this weekenc for some Browns. Wondering if I need to register my boat or if the Maine registration will be enough. Any other tips would useful too.

As long as you have a current registration from what ever state you are from, you are all set.

Kenduskeag, just out of Bangor and have a camp in Danforth on East Grand. Been out to Oswego and took charters but going to try it with our boat this time. Hopefully the weather forecast turns out OK or we are going to postpone. It looks kind of questionable for my 18' dual console.

Actually its not looking bad for sat.

I used to fish the eddington pool every June till they closed it. I know they opened it back up for this spring, but I go to the Merimichi every year now instead.

OMG. waterlogede was refering to a swimming pool and i was refering to what happens when some kid poops(brown trout)in the pool .this is very shallow thinking here so no diving ...

Dear WBF,

Be sure you have all your Life jackets and up to date safety gear aboard and a good picture ID. The Homeland Security people will show up soon to flex their muscles along with the NYS DEC guys. They just love to ticket you for expired flares, no anchor or any other infraction. Don't give them a chance. Check out your gear before you leave home.

P.S. The Brown Trout Fishing is going great!! Find some warm stained water inshore. And you will be rewarded!!
