I'm happy to say that my quest is now over. I'm the new owner of a 1996 Penn Yan Predator.

 

In a few days I'll get some sort of ad and put it here for my 1989 257 WA Penn Yan Aggressor. Of course its 25' and has a 9'4" beam. Never got pulled over for over width

Mike has maintained the boat since about 1994 and can vouch for any work done.

I don't know. I've never fished a hardtop but I hear there's a lot of noise in the cabin

Great lookin boat. We fish a contender with a hard top. Noise is not an issue. It will change the way it handles. Most hard tops are heavy. Tipsy feeling.

Looks like a beauty...if you don't mind my asking, where did you finally find her?

I found it in Henderson Harbor. Just a few small alterations to my liking and its ready to go. And it was close to my home port of Oswego to boot. Finally, after 3 years of looking. I thought we wanted a Prowler or Rampage (hardtop) but after seeing the boat "Broad Horizons" in Oswego, I knew that was what I wanted.

Now, SOMEONE BUY MY OTHER PENN YANN!
