Question, Do the Mag10hs have top be in water to work properly? I know that for the stop to work they do but what about going down. A friend just put these on his boat, they work fine in the up mode, but when he tries to lower them they go good for a ways then skip and slow down. Might this be a battery problem or switch or do they need to be in the water.

I've been able to run mine both up and down when they're out of the water. Sounds to me like a problem with the connection to the battery.

Thanks for the input Guys,

I told him it sounded like a battery issue also. RR he'll be out testing his also, look for Playin hookey, can't miss the lettering on the boat.
