Most if the 3 year old fish have moved to the rivers and bays. There is a good class of 2 year olds to be had out deeper. 150 FOW and out find the thermo and fish the marks you will have luck.

Was out this past weekend and found fresh fish in 180-220. As of yet we have not seen our pen fish entering the bay in any numbers, so they are still out there somewhere.

I'm with ya Popeye, Being they didn't stack/stage in 150 FOW until 2 days before Labor day, I'll bet there is some good in shore lake fishing to be had yet

Popeye, is there a fin clip on the Fairhaven net pen fish that we can look for? Thank you kindly for any advice...8-]

Yes this years mature fish should have an adipose clip if stocked. Next year on all bets are off because the clipping was not done after the study. The marina area will load up with Kings usually by Halloween. Should be later this year.

Thanks for the info, Werner. I was at the ELOSTA meeting last Wednesday and heard that starting next year all the mature fish from the netpen will only have the nose implant tag that requires a wand to detect. That's too bad because, although I  release most of my fish if they're not bleeders, I like to keep a small one once in a while to eat; but I would prefer to return any netpen fish to the lake for the future of our local fishery. TIght lines...8-]
