Owasco Laker action

I hope to try Owasco on the north end for lake trout this week, this will be be my first outing this year due to illness and could use up to date info.any help would be appreciated.Gary

Jigging has been very good in around 80 to 100 feet of water. Trolling has been  difficult because of floating mass of weeds.. I would troll near bottom or the thermocline which was around 50 feet down but changes daily. Normally where there is bait there is lakers. Good luck.

We had a FLTA tourny there 2 wks ago. A lot of nice fish were weighed in. 5-6 lb rainbows, some decent browns and lakers up to 10+ lbs. 50-75 ft seemed to be the "zone" they were in, out in the middle. One of our members was limited out by 930, had breakfast, took a knap and still won the tourny. I'd say the fishing on Owasco is pretty good this year.
