2014 king salmon season

I was stopped at the little salmon river by dec biologists. They were checking fish I had some and as they were measuring I asked where's all the fish? They state that last fall the two year olds ran with the three year olds and that is why we are not seeing the numbers. They state they don't no why or how many ran last year. They said they will now after the run this fall. But will not really no why. Mexico area was ok but not the numbers I saw last year in the boat or on the sonar.

I saw a lot of small fish last year in the salmon river,been fishing the river for from the early 80s but i only went their 5 or 6 times
