Redheads on Canadian opener

Never killed a redhead last year but this morning on the Canada opener we got two ans a scaup on a bluebird morning.

Are you sure that "Scaup" isn't a ringneck? Looks to be white around the base of the bill. Could just be the picture and I am looking at it on my phone.

I actually didn't look very closely as I was happy with the redheads .You may be right.

Either way..nice job. I love duck hunting. Took my son to the Northern zone youth hunt and he shot a limit and the western zone youth is this weekend. Scouted today. Its going to be a good hunt. Always enjoy your posts. Keep em coming.
