Perch fishing was on fire on the river side of the Charlotte Pier near the end Saturday. Wind and all.

Prchmike,,,  spoke to a guy yesterday at the river who said the same thing... Did you fish the river???? if  so what was the bait.  I herd Niagara Minnows.

Yes Niagara minnows were what I used but my buddy did real well on fatheads this week too.  Every fish was on the river side.

Drop shot rig. 2 hooks. One a foot up and a foot above that one. Sometimes catch 2 at a time. Either fish on bottom with tight line and watch pole of use slip bobber. I was using a slip bobber of the end of the pier in 15 feet of water fishing just off bottom.
