Water temp is 64 this morning. Caught one and lost one between 9 and 9:30.both in 4fow on savage gear eel.good luck to all saturday;gotta work.

A note about the eels;mine was getting chewed up so i ordered a couple more. I have been using the 12" eel. I also bought a couple 8" ones. No good. They come with a puny wire treble hook that a small esox could straighten out easily. Might be a good bass bait but not up to any esox standards.

old man, Are you familiar with a product called Mendit? It might be two words. I have not used it but I know someone who does and says it works good to repair chewed up soft plastic baits.
