Dsr reported fish showing up in front of the estuary anybody else hear anything? Or have any info? Thanks!!

_{today is the first day i actually saw lines to get your fish cleaned! first line was at pineville and the other line was at port ontario on the corner! plus my buddies kid and friends went to the tressel, and caught fish and had a fun day! so i have to say this is the first decent day that i know of! good luck all!}

Heard it's still all locked up quite a ways out into the bay... could change after thursday and friday's warm temps - unfortunately cold again for the weekend !

A shift has happened, from today's imagery.

Yes it has, don't get excited. I am on the shoreline now, 2-300 yards of shoreline ice, and about a mile of open water then ice as far as you can see. With the wind shift coming again, it will pile back in again. Figure atleast 2 weeks before dropping a boat in the bay.

Any suggestions on where to launch?  Water level shouldn't be an issue, we're in a 17 foot aluminium.

Ice has pushed out off nine mile, it is 4-6 miles out. If the winds keep offshore, should be pretty good by the weekend. But the winds are supposed to switch and blow hard west Friday night thru Saturday mid day. Time will tell what happens, lots of big chunks floating around now, will keep updating as we get closer to weekend.
