10/12/14 turned out to be a great evening on the St. Larry.  My buddy who developed Muskie fever after a 45"er last week wanted another go at it.  He was rewarded.  Started with a 49.5"er and finished with a 49"er.  Both fish released strong.

Looks like the nite bite has been productive there. The upper Niagara seems to have been more productive at night too. You have to be familliar with the waters for the nite bite. It is even more important on the Larry than the Niagara.

Nice fish, paul. Do you happen to recall if they were caught before or after moon rise? You are on fire this fall. Nice work.

EsoxAC3,

One before and one after.  I will be working sunrise later this week to see if the bite is there.  Can't wait for November!!!

muskiedreams,

You are right on about knowing the water.  The St. Larry is unforgiving.  If you work the wrong piece of water at night and don't know the area you are asking for trouble.

Nice work. Seems like its been a good year so far on the Larry. I can't wait to get up there a few days next month, especially since we didn't make the trip last fall. Might have to force myself to fish longer through the night but thats always so tough after fishing all day.

Nice website and sweet boat.
