Donley's Wall area in the North Gap of the Buffalo Harbor has been giving up a few Walleye to the flat line trollers. Best from 8 to 10 pm and with Clown colored Rapala's 110 ft back at 1.8 mph.Water temp is 57 degrees.

with the Small Boat Harbor ramp closed for the season, where do you launch to fish the wall?

Every November the Buffalo Harbor North & South Gaps load up with Emerald Shiners and Walleye feeding on them.Best action has been flat lining Rapala's in clown color 110 ft back at 1.8 mph.Only a couple boats take advantage of this great walleye action.I'm fishing muskies now, but catch 28 to 31" walleye on inside turn with Legend Plow ' s 14" crankbait.

I'm amazed on the fact that the Muskie guys catch walleye on 13" lures at speeds unheard of for walleye fishing, makes one think about switching things up for these elusive critters. Only one guy I know of that trolls 3mph or better for eyes, and is very successes full with it. Don't need to name that fellow, (Otisco) man. LOL.

I know of a charter in the henderson area that does the same. Generally passes me like I'm standing still.

Today the SBH surface water temp was 48.7 degrees and Lake Erie outside the walls was 51.2 degrees, The SBH is a Dead Sea, No Bait Fish or Hooks! Everything went out to deep water to warmer water temps.
