Hit the water around 7am with no idea of what we were in store for. It was a great day weather wise and fishing wise. The bass were stacked up in 1' of water out to the first drop. Find a rocky bottom and thats where the fish were. Crankbaits, jerkbaits, and roboworms did the trick. If you saw them it was too late and they became REALLY spooky.

Our special treat was the Tiger Musky! It hit a $45 jerkbait my buddy was throwing. I took my time getting the net as I was hoping that Musky would eat an expensive meal! You should have seen the sweat pourin from his forehead while that fish rolled with the bait in his mouth on 8lb McCoy line.

The launch wa actually very good. I imagine that in about 4 months Ill be scraping the bottom of my boat again when getting it on the trailer.

BTW....I saw more Walleyes today on that lake then Bass. It was amazing! They were all in the shallows in pairs, but I didnt see any spawning going on. They were very skiddish.
