PS II,

It all depends on the traffic that your website gets. Build a nice website that people want to visit more than once and you'll be a step ahead of most guys out there. Chad Lapa (Blue Eye) can help you build a nice site. Check it out: http://www.lakeontariounited.com/LOU_CaptainsCorner.php

There's a lot more to it than just building a site and waiting for the phone to ring though. I work hard on my site to keep it current and fresh.

I'll second Billy. Chad was a great help re-tooling my site this winter.

I'd say that probably 95% of my initial bookings (not counting returning

clients) are the result of internet contact. I am a firm believer, like Billy

in trying to keep the site up to date too.

As an example, I just came back from S.C., and have booked with

a guy that I found on the net for the last 3 years. When I'm looking,

I want to see current information, not 2 year old information.

Just my thoughts...

Bill;

I just checked out your web site! Very nice lay out for sure, not cluttered at all. I like the recent post linked back to the LOU site. I clicked on the picture under the email address expecting it to expand the picture larger and what a surprise I got it opened my email!! Pretty cool stuff!

Thanks Mark. I'm always fiddling with the site trying to keep it up to date. I think you discovered something that I didn't know about with that picture linking to my email though! :)
