I would have loved a buck but for my first deer this is not a bad sized doe. I shot it today, out in mendon, just before dusk with my grandpas browning a-5 shotgun

Congrats! A tradition is to cube up those tenderloins(inner loins) and eat them right away--don't freeze them. Saute in butter or olive oil with your choice of onions, peppers, mushrooms, or all of it. Served by itself or over rice or wheat pasta. Some take the tradition further and insist you share the first meal with those that were with you or helped you.

Good for you Dylan! One day the buck will come, but that is some good eats there. Now if ya can spin a story like Ray K...only less graphic..lol!

Hope you hunt with more orange, i like to know that you have a great future ahead in hunting. I know you probably took it off for the pics! Way t o go young man!
