Cannon Mag 10STX

I just bought the Cannon Mag 10STX. In reading the instructions it looks like there is no adjustment for the Positive Ion Control. Is that correct?

The Positive Ion Control system applies a fi xed 0.6

volts on the trolling cable at all times.

You also need to unplug them when not in use else you will drain your battery(s).

Huhh... I guess I never really thought about that part. Don't think mine were unplugged all season on the smaller boat. I never had battery issues. I would think cannon has some smarts built in to sense that the cable is in the water before it emits the positive field... But maybe not?!? Anyway I wouldn't worry about it at all based on my experience.

I believe the cable needs to be in the water to complete the circuit
