Looking for recommendations for spring brown rods

I plan on flat lining spoons and rapalas for browns in the spring. Im looking for a good rod/reel combo(lighter the better)(cheaper the better). Any recommendations?

i bought a couple of bass pro rigger rods,which are fairly light,that i used for riggers and running them off the boards for browns.very inexpensive.okuma magda 20 series reels are also inexpensive and hold up pretty good.

Get a couple of medium 7 ft. Ugly sticks for about $40 each. Thye are very light and will even handle salmon.

hey skate,where do you find ugly stick trolling rods for 40 bucks?i would love to go with them,but i cant find them for less then 60 bucks.
