Just FYI:  All NEW Gen3 Lowrance units (available late-Winter/early-Spring, 2015) will be under Restricted Manufacturer Pricing as of January 1st, 2015.  ...Meaning:  You buy from an unauthorized Lowrance dealer at a 'discounted price', your warranty is VOID.

Sounds like another example of the free enterprise system becoming dysfunctional and another example of price fixing by big business. I just bought a new Lowrance unit but it may be the last one if this is the way they run their business.

The margin for the retailers is very thin on that kind of stuff, so I don't see any selling that way less then another. If so, be careful it may not going smoothly specially over the internet.
