more christmas time bear creek browns

As Shark Hunter already reported,we got an early start.Launched at 6:45am,calm seas lt.south wind waves under 1 ft.Trolled west towards Ginna nuc.plant.Steady pic of browns employing spring time techniques,sticks off boards with long leads.Despite big blow Christmas day water was"gin" clear.My brother Mike and I had a steady pic.of small brown(2-4lbs).Sun came out mid-morning and the bigger "boys" showed up.We fished till 2:00pm the bite slowed up then.We trolled between Bear and the bouy markers off the Ginna plant.Being cautious not to enter the "restricted" zone in front the plant.We ended up 16 for 18 with some nice size males in the mix all catch and release.Happy New Year to all.Looking forward to a safe and "fishy"2015.
