R&R tackle is producing the fish catching Assassins again in 8", 10" and 12 inch models. You can see colors and order at mytacklebox.com They are beautiful, the glow is fantastic and we all know they attract a lot of fish! Think spring!

I have been using Dave's Assassins for over 6 years  (12 inch).  They are by far my go to setup for the deep kings in the middle of the day.  His colors do catch fish.  Two years ago I received several 8 inch from him.  Those are killer's when pulling a spoon.

Baddad,

How long of a leader do run from the flasher to the spoon?  Approx 30"?  Are you targeting trout or salmon mainly when you run that style set up?

DJ, I will run a longer 4' leader to a spoon because it has its own action. Both Steelhead and Kings will hit the set-up.

Gill,

Do you usually match the spoon and flasher colors? Or run 2 different patterns, if so what are determining factors for you?  Ive run flasher/ spoons for lakers on the fingers, ( usually a small Sutton trailing)  but only minimal times on Lake O

Mostly late summer Steelhead off dipsys.  Will catch big ones.  At Steelhead speed a sutton will spin out.  Northern King 28 size work well.

Just curious order lures on January 2nd and paid for lures. Received email receipts ....but no shipping info.....any body have any info on company ......be nice to Be informed about when shipped.

Yeah, Dave hand paints each and every lure and is a one man show, so some times he gets backlogged when a bunch of orders come in at once.

I'm not saying he waits for an order to paint them, but there's only so many hours in a day.
