I live in Sudbury, and usually fish Manitoulin Island/Georgian Bay.  I would love to plan a trip and try Lake Ontario.  What would be the best time to fish salmon in the Bronte area? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks, Tanks

Bronte has sucked in the last 2-3 years. Fish just haven't been there. I would suggest going further East such as Bluffers or Port Hope.

What he said...I find myself towing the boat far from Bronte in the summer in order to get into good fishing for Kings.

The Ministry is looking at reallocating stocks to try to revive the western end of the lake as it's degrading year over year pretty bad.
