OK, who can identify all the species seen in the pic?  I recognize long-tailed ducks (formerly known as oldsquaw).  What are the other ones?

Blue bills, White wing Scoters, squaws,and Elvis....the King Eider.

Orange one is a King Eider....extremely rare for this part of the United States....the other birds are White Wing Scoters and Scaup ( Blue Bills) . Scoters and Blls are pretty common. Kings are normally found in the Bearing sea or in the upper most North Atlantic. With all the high winds we had this December, im suspecting the King got blown off course and is digging the abundance of zebra mussels.

Hopefully when he goes back he tells a bunch more Kings how many mussels we have and they return in huge numbers!!! That would be awsome
