Bluebills aka lesser scaup. Almost over looked the white wing scoters I was looking too far back.

Not being a duck hunter, I can figure out the long tail but which ones are the others? What is the orange one? Thanks.

Orange one is a King Eider....extremely rare for this part of the United States....the other birds are White Wing Scoters and Scaup ( Blue Bills) . Scoters and Blls are pretty common. Kings are normally found in the Bearing sea or in the upper most North Atlantic. With all the high winds we had this December, im suspecting the King got blown off course and is digging the abundance of zebra mussels.
