Great pics Nick... I would love to actually walk on it and possibly get a chance to drill a hole and hook up with a big ole Atlantic. . OBVIOUSLY it will have to be froze for a few weeks for that too happen but would definitely be fun...

Neat pics guys Thanks.  Sure looks as though it is a long way off to Spring

Is that a boat in pic #3? Hats off to him. My boat isn't mobile as I wouldn't make it back up my driveway now. You guys that live up there are very lucky.

how far north is the ice? any chance at launching out of severne or lodi and hitting the west shore?

I haven't been down there in a while but I'm sure Lodi marina and boat launch are iced in. Most times the snow isn't plowed at Lodi unless I plow it.

Lodi boat launch is open and ready for boats to launch. Keep your eyes open for Big chunks of ice out there.

Stopped at Severne yesterday on my home from Keuka. The launch is open. Seven boat trailers were there, talked to one guy that just came in and he thought the perch were still deep. Didn't see any boats fishing close to the launch site.

It's no secret the perch are at Sampson. The whole marina is mobbed with fishermen. It's crazy. Out in front from a boat just outside of the shore caster's reach is where you want to be. The bait depends on the day and the weather.
