Fingerlakes lake trout 2/21 & 2/22

Had a great weekend on the hardwater! Lots of lakers both days. Saturday took my 13yr old nephew for his first laker trip through the ice he caught around 20. Sunday took my lady and a couple of friends and we had a blast. Nice warm day so we didnt have to hide in ice shanties and we caught a lot of trout again.

Hey Dave - Looks as though you got into them real good and great to see the surface there isn't bad either (vs. some of the other places) maybe there are some advantages to it freezing up late   Nothing like a couple happy ladies and a youngster with you holding up nice fish for pics either   Les

Thanks Les. Saturday was brutal with the winds but the fish were biting in our shanty so my nephew loved it. Sunday we couldnt of asked for a better day. We got to fish outside of the shanty and everyone caught a bunch of fish! Great weekend!!! I chose public access over our private because the new ice had almost no snow so drag was a piece of cake

Defiantly a good trip with enough fish to keep the young guy happy, thanks for taking a kid fishing,ooh ya and the young lady, really enhanced the fish photos. LOL. Your a luck man I've seen her in other big fish pics, she must like to fish also!!!!
