Scuppers

So I have a 22' fiberglass boat with scuppers below waterline, the cockpit drain is above waterline. My question is that they are currently blocked off below waterline and I would like to use my wash down system ,so what type of flap or back flow prevention should I use? They are stainless steel fittings also with rubber hose in between. Or should I just leave as is . Thanks

Bayliner? Original scuppers are Perko with neoprene flaps. Not sure why they would be plugged? If your floor is above the waterline you will not get water in your boat from them. Use your spraydown with piece of mind.
