Something good for the finger lakes - Oneida and some of the smaller inlands

I bought a Humminbird 596c HD. It's not for sale but it works great. I have it on a 14' Starcraft that's used in an electric motor use only lake. It's color and has speed too. New ebay purchase, cost me $330 with shipping

I have great luck with with my Garmin 541S.  Definitely would recommend it.

I second the hummingbird. That's what I use on my lake o boat with the GPS. Never had an issue. I was just at the bass pro shop in Denver and the helix 5 series is the latest they have to offer. Has all the bells and whistles as the 596 has a lower price around$330.00 good luck with your purchase
