im looking to paint/resurface the deck.not looking to rebuild,its still solid,but guy before me had carpet down and when i removed the carpet alot of the glue stayed,some of the paint came up,looks like crap.any suggestions on a what brand/type of paint or something else that would be easy to put down to make it look better???thanks

Boat US/West marine sells deck paint with traction additive. i used it years ago on a Thompson I had. Worked good but gotta move you a*% applying it...died super fast. Good luck.

I put durabak on my last boat lots of colour options lots of grip. Marine specific product line. Good to work with smells a lot though

Might want to consider gel coat. Can have it tinted to desired color and add pumice for skid resistance.

You won't be disappointed. Do 2 coats, I believe I bought 1 gallon for my 19'er. It comes with a high nap plastic roller cover.

Make sure you get all the adhesive up as it might react with the paint you choose.  Lots of elbow grease and acetone will do the job.

thanks everyone,ill probably sand her down,then clean up and paint.gona order durabak this week.see what they recommend as far as prep work.
