They should be able to do it if u ask them all it requires is a lighter.. They they won't go talk to button down at sr sport shop and ask him... Its super quick and easy

Just melt the tip off... And glue the twilly guide on..

It comes with the little kit if I remember right.. its like a glue stick you melt with a lighter and cover end of rod and the insert with then slide it on

The twilly kit will have like five insert sizes for you rod tip

Thanks Ben. Just ordered wire and tips from Atomik.

Ben- you think you are going to be able to fish this spring? I'm up mid-april if you want a seat going for brownies.

I'm up april 16-20. If you want a free seat for a day or 2 let me know. My fee is a ham sandwich and the ability to bust balls

Heat tip up with lighter...pull off with needle nose...gently scrap rest of glue/threads off with a razor blade...apply super glue...put new tip on. Super easy! 3-minutes per rod.

if you use superglue you wont be getting it off so dont count on replacing it

Isn't the tip plastic so getting it off is out of the question anyway, unless maybe with a heat gun???

Mine usually break off, lol. Making shorter rods......

I use a soldering iron to heat up the tip, cause when I did it I could not find any good instructions and I was a bit worried about putting fire to my precious rods :sweating:. Just touch the original metal tip with the iron, and it will be hot enough to come off within seconds. The glue that was left over from the original tip was more than enough to secure the twilli tip.
