I love small boats but this seems to be a patented reason to be $1500.

I fish routinely out of of a 4x8 platform and I can assure you that it is not as simple as the video claims.  Extra poles are always in the way.  I can barely touch my toes yet I would have to go in the basement to get my gear with this design.  I am not against the design, I am against the price of the product of that design.  as far as rolling the entire boat.  The plastic pontoon with built in dolley works better and "still" will fit thru a closet sized door.  $750 seems more accurate to me.

If someone has one or wants one, I would like to know from a curiosity stand point how it performs next to bass hounds and open hull pelican/sun dolphin designs.

The reasons for comparing it to bass hounds is because they seem to be after that market.  Pelicans fit in to it as well.  Shallow V or Jon boats with an Al hull or even canoe/yak are too different.  If you ever fish from a bass hound you will know what I mean.

For Jaw's fans... sorry about not needing a bigger boat.
