Just came from the launch and it is pretty low. Could be pretty tough getting mid to large boats out. May try to get my 16 ft'er out tomorrow . Will report if I do.

Whoa - that's low for sure. No way I can launch my boat with it that low.

Thanks for posting,

Do you have any idea how many feet the ramp extends under water?

The ramps only extend to the end of the docks.

At the ends of the ramps there are cement like railings to help prevent you from backing the trailer in past the end of the ramps. If you back in over these railing, you may have one helX of a time getting back out without damaging your trailer.

I saw one guy last year rip the whole axle off of his trailer.

I would say maybe two and half to three feet at the end of the dock but as trout bum said you have to make sure the wheels of your trailer do not go past the end of the dock.

If you go past the end of the dock and the tires fall of the ledge your stuck. Saw a guy have to call in a boom truck to pick his trailer straight up to get it out

An 18' boat can make it out of the launch in the bay.  There were a ton of them launching in that size yesterday.   The water level is a smidge above where it was last week.  Still about 18-24" below normal.  I would NOT risk anything larger.  Can't speak for the launch at the genny.  It is a deeper pitch but I have no idea how far the pads extend into the river.

Wow, that's not good, looks like I'm going to have to wait a bit unfortunately!

I was there today at Mayers and definitely not recommend launching. Only two boats that I can see that are moored.

I've launched a 25' center console out or both last week. Water is low but no issues. If ever in doubt walk to the end of the dock with a boat hook. Nothing good happens if your wheels go off the end.
