[Beyond Upstate]

On the water from 7:00 until 11:30, had a fun first trip of the year. Set the boards out each side then a line out each side 100' back with fire tiger and natural perch rapalas. Grabbed the third rod to set the next and first rod in the water hooked up, as soon as I my fishing partner had that pole in hand the second got hit and we started the year out with a double 10 minutes in. Had good action all morning and ended up with 13 Browns and a tiny steelhead to go with several missed fish. Mostly smaller fish, but a couple around 8 or 9 pounds. Weather was great, and a perfect day, including a triple with the coast guard alongside asking for verification of life jackets. Can't wait to get back out!
