The rudds are in crazy numbers. I catch them all spring off the dock in the canal. They eat everything.

This is what happens when left over live bait is dumped in the water.

More like this is what happens when guys use/sell illegal bait

I'm very familiar with Rudd having researched them on the niagara and they are a real concern/nuisance and poor choice of bait to say the least...

The spillway northeast of the marina at the north end is loaded with them.

My niece and nephew fish in there in the summer catching sunnies and blue gills and a lot of those.... Always wondered

Rudds. Related to many other fish including carps and minnows. From the "old world" (so what else is new?!). Can be another big problem species (so what else is new?!).
