Has anyone ever fished this? http://hendersonharborny.com/id38.html I think I'm going to try it.

Also, where is a good place to stay in that area? Is there any hotels, campgrounds, B&B's, that are near to the launch?

I've never fished either of those tournaments, but I fish the Henderson area pretty frequently. I'll be up that weekend as long as the weather is decent. For accomodations, I like the Willows (www.thewillowsonthelake.com). They have cabins for rent as well as tent sites. It is about 2 miles from the Henderson Harbor launch. There are also several places to stay right in the harbor. Henchen's Fish Camp has cabins that are decent in the heart of Henderson Harbor.

I'm heading up to HH in the am and fish for 2 days. I'm a rookie there. Any last tips?

they were out in deeper water monday...and in the river at the cliffs. i drifted and trolled the bouys most of the day with no results then i quickly went out to 25 fow for one drift and caught one 26" within 5 minutes then picked up and went in for the day. At the launch a guy said he had good luck in the river but as soon as other boats got there it shut down. btw the fish in the river are small very few keepers...i'd say drift or troll a lil deeper and if no results work your way out past the bouys until you find some bait out deeper (usually suspended and get the big momma's.
