Hassellmania, I've been looking for one too and haven't been able to find any units. Where did you end up finding one? Was it new or used?  Thanks a ton

Ebay has some I've been watching for about 1,000 dollars, but I'm nervous about used equipment like that . Might be worth the money to buy new.

They are not listed on his web site but Jim is a Garmin dealer and was able to source one for me a couple of years ago at a great price

Thanks mudflat. Just contacted him and they are sold out too. It is impossible to find a TR-1 gold unit right now.
