Hot Keuka lure?

Now that the ice fishing on Keuka is pretty much over can anyone tell me what the hot lure for lake trout was? I heard it was something like a very large tube.

Anything dropped to the bottom and retrieved quickly... white tube, weighted swim bait, white rooster tail all produced fish.

You can't beat a white 3" or 4" Mr Twister Curly tailed grub.  Drop it to the bottom and start reeling it back up.

5" Kalin's twister tail on a 3/4 oz glow jig head. Any plastic in white worked just as well as any other though, IMHO.

 

Strangely enough, I had one morning where the only thing they'd hit (rather than just chase) was a grub where the tail had been bitten off. My buddy was having trouble getting them going, bit his own tail off and started catching fish.
