leadcore knot

Anything special when tying the backer to the leadcore? we are running 30# power pro and 27# leadcore. from what i have been reading the albright knot seems to be the best.

maybe i have been reading too much as some knots they say to pull back the dacron and cut the lead then thread the line through the dacron

I use the willis knot. Here are some pics courtesy of Skeinmachine from the spoonpuller's board. I use 2 overhand knots when tying powerpro to leadcore.

that is the other knot that I see a lot use but like you said use 2 overhand knots
