Hi everyone, i recently bought a dual planer board mast and have a question about the set up. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried using the smaller church boards (for example) on a mast instead of connected directly to your fishing line  I have a small boat and want to conserve space. Any info or suggestions good or bad is greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone and good fishing

Suppose you could, but I don't imagine they'll pull like a wood board or otter.

i actully tried it once with a yellow bird it works to a point you can only run one line on it but gets away from the boat and you can fight the fish and not the board.  overall its worth it to get big boards though.  they will pull to the side better.  if space is tight you can get collapsable ones.  I also hang mine off the mast when not in use to get them up out of the way.

Paul's Planers are very compact and work great for what you're talking about. If space is really a premium and you want to run multiple board lines church inlines can't be beat.
