Brown Trout fishing this weekend 26 April 2015... Where?

I am from the Fort Drum Area and plan on trying some spring Brown Trout fishing for the first time this weekend (26 April 2015) Any suggestions on where to launch and fish. I was thinking about Oswego or Mexico Bay. I have a 19' boat with 90hp motor. I have been reading a lot about spring Brown Trout on the forum and I am ready to give it a try. I just joined the Forum today and I am thankful for the wealth of information on here.

Mexico Bay sounds right.

Either will be good, Mexico or Oswego. Browns been hitting real close inside 4-20 FOW.

I'd suggest Oswego. If its still a little rough from this blow you could spend some time in the harbor while it settles down.

14 miles West of Oswego is Fair Haven (Little Sodus Bay) the Brown fishing there can be spectacular.

Thanks for all the advice everyone !! I went to Oswego with the family and it was too cold and windy for them. We were in the Harbor for a little while but we didnt catch anything. I will have to go back without the family and try again. I have to see when i can get back on the water and post a open seat to get someone with experience to go with me...
