Otisco update

We were up working on our place today and I thought I'd give a report. Water temp on pond side is up to 48, main lake is 42 still, north end and shallows of main lake 44-45. Water clarity is the best I've ever seen, and even on the pond side you can see down over 2 feet easy. The ONLY fish up shallow were carp. 1 week to go!!

I also want to see 50! Hard to get to 50 though when we haven't seen daytime highs above 50 in a week. There is still a little snow on the ridges.

I fished yesterday morning from 630-1030, had just above 40 deg on my Lowrance on the north side of the causeway. Fished back and forth along causeway and I only ventured about 3/4 mile up each shoreline. Couldn't find any BT but we did get 3 SMB in the 3-4 lb range and 3 TM from 30-36".

Nice! We are headed back up to work one last day staining our decks....2 coats brushed by hand! My before I go fishing list will be done today!
