Well today was a bit slow. Not much action. On salmon in the first 10 minutes then nothing. Enjoyed a flat day on the water. Took my sister and her other half today. Was a lot of fun. Canal is warm. Lake average was 37.9.

South east side boasted 38 to 40 degree water. Very few Marks but the seagulls were in full swing. There is a TON of bait here. I believe the fish are just full to the gills.

May be out tomorrow solo. Late post but if someone wanted to go?

Had a similar day from Lodi all the way to the south end. One rainbow off a flat line - nothing on the boards or the riggers. It has to start warming up soon!

Thanks for the report Nick, that makes me feel a little better. My girlfriend and I washed lures from the south end up the west side, then jumped up along the east side to peach orchard trolling back south, very few marks, looked like a few lakers deep on the bottom, didn't move a rod, but a nice day to be out and everything ran well, pretty much stuck to the shallow water program.  Oh well.  I did manage a few nice bows on the flyrod the day before in the real "skinny" water which was fun.  Might try again today for a few hours today...
