Morning trip - We had the Palmers Food guys on board including the president of the company. Great group of guys, and VERY appreciative of their experience. They were spoiled in the 4 hours they fished with us.

Fished from Hedges East and had a great pick of mostly Salmon with a few LT's in the mix. We worked 40-60' of water with 50' being our best. Riggers 20-40' down with 40-60' leads. NBK's and Glow Green Spooks were our studs. Cracked off a good one on a Reef Runner Bare Baked Coral as well. Big fish took a Green flasher/A-TOM-MIK Ultra Glow Green on a 10 color core. We went 7 for 9 on Salmon and had 2 lakers.

Afternoon trip - Our afternoon guys were from Excellus, and one of the guys was the new owner at Bathtub Billys Bar. They also were spoiled in the 4 hours they got to fish with us. They couldn't believe the size of the fish, and how much fun Lake Ontario can be.

We fished the same water from the morning. Our divers out 125' on 3 were studs with Frost Bites. NBK's were still going on our riggers 30-40' down with 40-60' leads. We went 3 for 7 on Salmon and took 3 LT as well.

That's not a Yankee! But looks like a beautiful ride. Calm seas too

Captain Rick, we love reading your reports.  You're one of the guys who's not afraid to share information.  Good luck to you and your team this tournament season.

I too, as a total amateur, really appreciate the info you give.   Probably will never be close to your skill level, but it gives me a place to start from!

Nice job Rick!  You and Randy knocked them dead as usual.  All of the captains that participated (23) made this a great event and we raised approximately $100,000 for the Red Cross.  See you next year!

I was not aware that we raised that much. That's AMAZING! I think it would be a good idea to get the info on here as to how company's can get involved. Lot's of people on here can take this to their HR representatives, or business owners, to try and grow the event.
