Niagra bar May 2 & 3

First time on the forum. Fished in the scotty tourney out of port Weller on the weekend. Fished both days at the bar.

 

Saturday we had a steady pick of kings all on spoons over the drop off. 25 - 50 feet down. Watermelon seemed to be the best color for us. Ended up with 14 (or so) kings. Smallest was 8 lb, biggest was 21 lbs. Finished the day in fourth.

 

Sunday went back to same location and started with same setup. Little slower bite but used same pattern, but added a flasher in an attempt to draw fish into the pattern. Ended up with around 12 kings and a few lakers. Finished the tourney in fifth place. 

 

Talked to lots of people who patterned a successful meat program.
