River pike

We caught 7 pike casting sticks in 5-8 fow on h St Lawrence this afternoon. Keep 3 to eat and released the rest and 3 nice small mouths that we caught. Only fished a couple hours. I've been doing a great deal of trolling the last couple years and it's fun to catch them casting for a change.

First day fishing on the river for me today..went through a fifty pack of worms with a buddy and kept 33 bullheads.  Pretty tough as the bay we were in was very exposed to that SW wind. About half were not spawned out yet.
