weekend Hughes report

Well let me start by patting myself on the back for a 4th place LOC fish.

We discussed throwing it back ,pretty small for a LOC derby. But it just shows how tough the fishing has been.

Did a little experiment this weekend ,ran 30lb andes off one side of the boat and 12lb big game off the other, Guess witch side took the most hits?

If you guessed the 12lb test your wrong. No floro leaders either.

Dropped a big rainbow , it broke the splitring between the hooks and spoon body. Big fish seem to find a weakspot.

All and all the fishing has improved a little. Sat was 12hits 7 hookups

6 fish boated. mostly bows. Sunday morn was one Coho. Went down deep for kings but could not get em to go. The brn trout have yet to show up in any numbers. Still cold, clear ,water with not much bait..

Nice job, we were up Friday and fished with Larry but we had to quit early

do to 3 chummers. 1 small steelhead for the day only had 1 other hit.

3 chummers ,heck im a little ready to jump in with one chummer specially with someone like Fisherman who has outstanding projection it gotr a little bumpy fri at olcott but even motoman held his breakfast for once. atta boy stix i was thinking you were all air but now the ball is in our court again.easy on the arm heck mine is still sore from thinking i (we) was gonna place. next time .............Ray K.
