Magda 45's

Anyone know how much mono I can fit on a Magda 45 for backing in conjunction with 300 yards of 65lb power pro as my main line? Thanks in advance. Jim

According to the charts 65 braid is equivalent in size to 16 lb mono. The reel says it holds 520 yds of 20 lb mono so given that 16 is less than 20 and you have 300 yds of braid going on I would say almost 300 yds of 20 lb mono for backing

Thanks Fire...  I used the spreadsheet to figure it out but if anyone really cares or plans on doing this with their reels in the future, here are the results.  I was able to put 435' of 30LB Ande Mono backing and a full 300 yards of 65lb Power Pro braid with just enough room to fit a leader on if I wish.  It calculated out to 97% of capacity.  Just thought I would share in the event someone was trying to find out quickly.
