Third time was the charm for us out there. It was the third time we have been out on my boat with the new gear trying this trolling thing... We landed 2 fish big enough to take home. Hit the water @myers about 5:30am when the fog was so think you couldn't see more then 10 feet around you.... Was an interesting ride from there and I learned to appreciate the GPS on the FF in a whole new way. Packed up around 1pm when the sun was burning us, still no idea where the bottle of sunscreen went...

First one was 23" and 5.6 lbs on my digital scale. 2nd was 21.5 and 4.8lbs.

Special thanks to the guy who gave us some great advice on what we were doing wrong near the south end. Landed us another fish we would likely not have without your help. I hope you got the B*****d who not 20 minutes later, ran over your lines and gear at full speed. If you need witnesses please pm me, you have two and we owe you a beer at least. Hope he didn't get you too bad.

Didn't enter the derby at all, just fishing for fun.
