neither of my voltage gauges are registering any voltage yet everything seems to be working fine. Any guesses what it could be?

Open ground, find it and fix it ASAP alternator will be working harder than it should.

ground for me as well. I find that more than eighty percent of DC voltage issues are a ground issue.
