Oswego 5/10 & 5/11

[Fish Magnet]

Finally got the boat up to lake. The fishing left a little to be desired but it was fun anyway. Saturday went 3/4 all steelhead the biggest 1 was 9.14 lbs. just 2 oz. from the leaderboard oh well better luck next time. We were set up for salmon(we don't fish for browns), first fish took a Magnum DW Holograph Alewife 25' down 100' back over 120' of water. The next 2 took aGreen Protroll w/ Green Hammer fly 90' Back on a #2 setting on awire dipsey. Last fish snapped us off about 30' behind the boat on a Magnum NK Diehard. Sunday was 2/2 with our first King of the year @ 10.75 lbs. on a wire dipsey 90' back #2 setting White/Mountain Dew SpinDoctor w/ Hammer Fly. Second fish a small steelie on a slider NK Diehard. Not a bad 1st weekend and it will only get better. Good luck to everyone and hope to see you on the water.
